Recipe: Egg Drop Soup

Well guys I’m sorry for the lack of posting but I tell you what six classes are no joke. Well today I made some excellent egg drop soup and I have been asked to share the recipe with you. It’s simple and can be prepared and served in 10mins or less. 


2 Eggs, 1 Egg Yolk=3 Eggs total

2 cans of chicken broth (a mix of chicken base and hot water can also be used as chicken broth)

1/8 tsp of ginger

1/4 tsp of salt

1/4 tsp of pepper

1 tbs of corn starch

1/4 tsp of crushed red pepper (optional)



Bring 1 1/2 cans of chicken broth to a boil, along with the ginger, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper. 

In a separate bowl, take two eggs and whisk them together. Then take the last egg and separate the yolk from the white and add the yolk to the first mixture of egg and set aside. 

After mixing the eggs in a cup take the other 1/2 can of chicken broth and mix with the corn starch until it becomes a white colored mixture then set aside. 

Next take the bowl of the egg mixture and with a cooking spoon(with holes) or with a fork slowly pour the egg into the boiling chicken broth. After all of the egg is inside the chicken broth, take the chicken broth/corn starch and slowly pour it into the soup until the consistency(thickness) is where you like it and ENJOY!
